Sorry for the late post but the earthquake on the island held things back. This is some of the items we got from Free Gold Watch, Artful Dodger, and Temple Effectives. Stone Groove Radio has been doing big things for the hip hop movement in Hawaii by playing quality music on a major station in Hawaii. Please support things like this so we all can live in a better musical world. The picture above is with Stone Groove Family members (Sub Zero, Dj Jrama, and J BLaze) along with Tajai (Souls of Mischief) , and Mike (Dig Lifestyles). We are working on a joint project with Tajai so look out for that in the near future as well as more pics this week of new items from Temple Effectives, Prohibit, and Artful Dodger.

September is usually the slowest month of the year. Whether it be restaurants, hotels, or retail, but it seems like September was a blur for us at the shop. Going out was a must for us this month. We had three weeks to promote the method man concert and it almost made going out not fun. We also played host to Alex and Dj Honda from the ITF (look for Honda's new line coming out soon).
Everything is back to normal and we will try to update the blog more often. Next week we got more items from Artful Dodger, Prohibit, and Temple Effectives coming in look out for pics from us.

We are slowly getting our blog up so we can keep you up to date with the happenings of the store. This was the trip to project/pool new york. Everyday was an adventure in NY we ran into someone everyday that we were in the apple. New York has so much energy and influences. We were fortunate to stay with a good friend of the dig lifestyles family Ajile who coordinates shows with us in Hawaii in addition to being Rahzel and DJ Js1's manager. Fort Greene Brooklyn was a cool place to be at (Cafe Habana all day) and just to witness the support that Brooklynytes give each other is great, it reminded me of friends in Hawaii.
Highlights of the trip was being in Brooklyn catching a Lupe concert, catching a performance from Talib at the Apple store, dinner with Common and AJ, checking out the filming of hanging with Pharrell at the ALIfe store, and chillin with Ramos and Ajile at the sony office.
Big ups to Ajile, Common, Ramos, DJ Min, and all of the labels we will be carrying.
Check back soon we will be putting up pics of new items in the store.

we're pretty new to this so heres and introduction. dig lifestyles is located in the sam sung plaza across of walmart on koreamoku. besides bringing you the freshest mens and womens hip hop gear, we bring down the dopest recording artist live and direct for you viewing and listening pleasure, constantly raising the bar and setting the standards for the education of HIP HOP in hawaii!

still dont know who we are?
familiar with COMMON, DIALATED PEOPLES, GOAPELE, SLUM VILLAGE, SOULS OF MISCHIEF, THE ROOTS, and most recently ERYKAH BADU! if you dont know, now you know this is how and what we do.
